How It’s Done
A Careful Installation, From Arrival to Final Fit
A photo story following one window treatment installation from the first box off the truck to the finished room.
The Details Behind the Finished Room
A window treatment only looks finished when the mounting, fitting, and final adjustments are handled with care. These ten moments show the work that happens before the room is ready to enjoy.

01. Arrival and Unloading
The day begins by unloading the boxed order and organizing it for the work ahead.
02. Check the Hardware
Hardware is checked and opened at a dedicated staging spot before installation begins.

03. Prepare the Work Area
A clean drop cloth creates a protected work area while the next pieces are prepared.
04. Mount the Bracket
The mounting bracket is set with the hardware and instructions close at hand.

05. Hang the Shade
The shade is lifted into place from a step ladder, with tools and shoe covers ready.
06. Reach the High Windows
Some windows demand extra reach. Blue shoe covers and a compact setup keep the work controlled inside the finished room.

07. Fine-Tune the Fit
Once mounted, the shade is leveled and fine-tuned at the window.
08. Inspect the Details
A close inspection catches the small details before the work moves on.

09. Work as a Team
A whole-home installation moves across several windows, with the crew working together along the glass.
10. Finish the Room
The process ends with a finished room, balanced light, and treatments fitted to the glass.
